Andrea was born and raised in Windsor, so it's safe to say she knows her way around. After taking a year off after graduating from highschool (because the idea of University terrified her), she decided to go into Environmental Studies for her major. At 24 years old, she works like a dog at 2 jobs and goes to school, making free time limited. But when she can shes plays softball and "attempts" to play volleyball and also lets her inner nerd at when enjoying a super hero movie here and there.
Seemab Aslam Masih
This Pakistani lady from Dubai touched down in canada at the tender age of 19 years old to study biological studies at the University of Windsor. Having only been Canada for 3 years off and on, Seemab has continuously said that she has never felt like she has seen all of what Windsor has to offer, making this project something of a learning experience for her. In her free time, she enjoys watching youtube video (I mean, who doesn't love watching YouTube Videos), dance, reading books and magazines, and she's even taking her good looks towards some modelling oppourtunities.
Alexandra "Alie" Ducharme
Along with Andrea, Alie is a Windsor native of the Riverside area. A former Environmental studies turned Fine Arts major, Alie has an eye for the visual ideas. The map concept of Windsor Eco Maps is the brain child of our very own Alie, who came up with the design on a whim after the group was unable to think of a concrete idea. Her art work shows her interest in the environment and contemporary landscapes. At 23, while finishing up degree, in her free time she likes to exercise, go to music festivals and works part time at the Keg to fund her music festival ventures.
As another international import to Canada of the group, Yasser got to the city of Windsor about 5 years ago from Iraq. Originally having a background in Geography, he decided to take Environmental Studies once here. Yasser has done much of the map work, as he cut and built the maps that you see within the blogs. While spending most of his free time with his family and also goes to the gym. He volunteers with Erca occasionally, doing species identification trees and soils.
Iris Ni
Hailing from Shanghai China, Iris is the eyes behind the lens, being in charge of the media aspects of the project. At 24 years old, Iris is a 4th year Communications and Film Studies student at the University of Windsor with a minor in Psychology. Being the strong and silent type, Iris practises the patient Art of Karate and also busts out a few tunes here and there while playing the guitar in her free time. Later this year she'll also be apart of a documentary team working on commercials for a prominent landscape company in Windsor.
